WHAT DOES “THE YACHT EXPERIENCES” SELL The Yacht Experiences offers “Nautical Experiences” including: culinary experience, top-shelf bar, chef on board, highly-trained-crew service, along with other amenities and gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea. At The Yacht Experiences we DO NOT rent specific yachts/catamarans, nor do we sell tours or specific itineraries. At The Yacht Experiences we are committed to providing the most incredible experience of your life, onboard one of our vessels in the beautiful Caribbean Ocean. This being so, by booking with us you are hereby aware of and agree to the following: During the reservation process you are able to select a vessel from our fleet, however a change in vessel might occur without prior notice up until boarding. A change of vessel does not affect the “Nautical Experience” you are booking with us. If the new vessel provided has a higher price, you will not be charged extra. If the new vessel provided has a lower price, we will adjust the price and you will be charged the corresponding amount. During the reservation process you are able to select one of the Experiences we offer. However, The Yacht Experiences do not sell a precise itinerary or a specific tour. To offer you the best and most comfortable Experience, the final itinerary will be decided on and provided by The Yacht Experiences on the same day of your experience, depending on different factors such as weather conditions, ocean conditions and regulatory conditions from the nautical authorities. Changing the itinerary does not affect the “Nautical Experience” you are booking with us.

By placing an order or entering into a contract with TYE, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be strictly bound by them. The contract is valid as soon as the deposit is received and our confirmation is issued. It is essential that you check the details of your confirmation to ensure it is accurate. If there are any errors or discrepancies, you must contact us immediately.

A minimum deposit of 30% is required when making the reservation. You may be required to make a deposit of 50% to 100%, depending on the year, season and/or availability of the boat. The outstanding balance must be paid upon arrival at the dock and before boarding the yacht. At the time of booking, a credit card must be registered as a guarantee, accompanied by a photo of the official identity document of the card holder and a photo of the credit card used. Your credit card will be charged as soon as your reservation is confirmed. This process is normally completed 24 hours after the reservation is made. Before boarding, it is necessary to pay the marina fee and taxes in cash.

Before boarding, we will provide you with a liability waiver form to be read and signed by each passenger. Full name, email, phone number and a selfie are required in order for each passenger to complete their own liability waiver.

The client accepts and acknowledges that he is responsible for the correct use of the boat and for ensuring that it is maintained in good condition. Therefore, the client undertakes to cover the cost of any damage caused to the boat, its accessories or finishes, derived from negligence, misuse or misconduct. of any passenger during the trip. The client accepts that any of the credit cards registered at the time of the reservation will be used to cover said damages, and accepts that said charges will be made to it. In case of any damage, The Yacht Experiences will send an email to the client with evidence of it within 48 business hours after the trip.

If there is no available and convenient time for both, our cancellation policy will apply. Our yachts are required to have hull insurance, civil liability insurance and accident insurance coverage for all passengers and crew. If the yacht suffers any damage, the client is obliged to cover the repair costs with the amount of the deposit. Repair costs in excess of the deposit are covered by the insurance company. In case of negligence or any damage that is not reported at the time, the client must cover all expenses. Passenger insurance does not cover accidents, injuries or death due to risk sports such as swimming, windsurfing, paddle boarding, waverunners, diving, fishing and snorkeling, among other activities.

Any water activity involves risks. The consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during the charter. Alcohol consumption increases the risk of injury or death at sea and on boats. TYE shall be held harmless from any claim or liability for property damage, personal injury or death arising out of or related, directly or indirectly, to the use of the boat, water features and activities related to the yacht.

The price of your Experience is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharge. While we reserve the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time, once you have booked your Experience and paid the deposit, the price shown on your invoice is fully guaranteed.

Published prices are in US dollars, as is the fee applied to credit cards. If your credit card is not in dollars, your bank will establish and apply the exchange rate. The Yacht Experiences wants you to feel as secure as possible when making an online purchase. For this reason, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which protects your card information when you book our Experiences. This protection process prevents other people from accessing information transmitted over the Internet. Once received, your card information is not retransmitted over the network. To register on the day of your Experience, it is mandatory to present the credit card used to make the reservation, along with an official identification.

Any infraction of these points is reason for cancellation of the trip without the right to any refund: The consumption of drugs or narcotics is prohibited. The improper use of alcohol is prohibited. Children under the age of 6 are prohibited from being alone anywhere on the ship. It is forbidden to throw any type of food or object into the sea. Standing anywhere other than on the floor of the boat is prohibited. It is forbidden to jump into the water without prior authorization from the crew. It is forbidden to separate from the group while snorkeling without prior authorization. Swimming is prohibited if the person has consumed alcohol without moderation. Swimming under the boat is prohibited. Touching any navigation device on the ship or any of its controls is prohibited.

Additional hours may be requested during the tour. This will be subject to availability and authorization. The costs vary according to each boat. If the return to the port is delayed more than 15 minutes due to the client, an extra hour will be automatically charged.
